Ambrotype- the Watt twins in summer Dresses

Soyouthinkyoucansee these details  This 1/2 plate ambrotypes shows twin girls standing on a carpeted platform. They wear identical fur trimmed coats and hats. In the background are sets of legs that are braces to hold them still although they are not the standard upright on a heavy base. A second ambrotype shows them in identical off the shoulder dresses.

Ambrotype - Boy on a Rocking Horse A child in a checked dress, identified as a boy by his side-parted hair, sits on a rocking horse. It might have been a prop at the photographers studio.

This beautiful photography shows Mary Josephine Zipfel who is wearing her bridesmaid’s dress for the wedding of her brother Charles to Anna Wagner. It was probably taken in 1889 when Mary was 16 years old.

This is a carte-de-visite by the studio E.T.Church in Belfast from an unknown Victorian lady. I guess that it was taken circa 1873 or 1874.

The photograph shows two unknown sisters. It was taken in the studio J. Šrámek in Strakonice (Bohemia, Czechia) circa 1895.
